Glorious Anytime Muesli ~ Chocolate Nut Muesli

This Muesli recipe is an adaptation from one that Nigella uses. Need I say more? I was thinking of calling it Glorious Morning Muesli, but the honest truth is that I crave this delicacy all day!

Glorious Anytime Muesli

Ingredients:
4 1/2 C Oats
1 C Sunflower seeds
3/4 C Sesame seeds
3/4 C Apple sauce (I quickly cook my own using 2 granny-smith apples)
1/4 C Cocoa powder (Sieved)
2 tsp Ground Ginger
2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 C Apricot jam (heat in the microwave to make it runny)
1 C Peanuts
1 C Pumpkin seeds
2 Tbs Oil
3/4 C Sugar
1 tsp Sea salt

Method:
1. Using a very large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients. Stir well to ensure that it's evenly coated.
2. Spread 1/3 of the mixture evenly onto a baking tray and bake at 150* for 40 minutes, stirring the muesli after 20 minutes.
3. Repeat with the other 2/3.
4. When the muesli has cooled down enough for you to be able to handle it, break the larger lumps into smaller clusters.
5. Store in an airtight container for about 2 weeks (not that you'll have any left by then!)
